This week, each Year 3 class went on a local walk around Staines as part of our learning in geography. We found and discussed different human and physical features along the way, including the leisure centre, Doctor’s surgery, council offices, shops and park. The children plotted the route on a map and drew their own symbols for the features. They also labelled their symbols in a key.
